June 25, 2012 – Microsoft announced the acquisition of enterprise social networking company Yammer for $1.2 billion. TechCrunch reports that Yammer generated $25 million in revenue in 2011. Yammer is currently a defendant in the Real Time Social Innovations (RTSI) case. RTSI [NPE] filed suits against Yammer, Facebook, Oracle, Salesforce and others in February 2012.
