June 14, 2012 – Acacia Research announced that its subsidiary, Optical Memory Storage, has entered into settlement agreements with Fujifilm and Panasonic.  In June 2011, Optical Memory Storage filed suit against over a dozen companies including Fujifilm, HP, Panasonic, Philips, and Ritek, alleging that the defendants’ CD and DVD discs infringe three patents related to optical memory storage solutions.
