June 7, 2012 – Oracle announced a cloud service that includes applications to manage sales and employee resources and will be integrated with Oracle’s database software and the Java platform.  According to the press release, Oracle plans to reach $1 billion in cloud revenue this year; Taleo (acquired for $1.9 billion) is reportedly expected to generate $379 million and RightNow Technologies (acquired for $1.5 billion) is expected to generate $268 million.
