May 31, 2012 – General Patent Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Data Distribution Technologies (DDT), entered into a settlement agreement with Pricegrabber.com.  Under the terms of the agreement, Pricegrabber.com paid DDT’s standard 1% royalty on its past and future sales.  In December 2011, DDT filed three separate suits against Kayak Software, Pricegrabber.com, and Zoolert, alleging that the defendants’ website and price alert services infringe a patent related to updating and emailing product information to subscribers.
