Cirrex Systems Sues Angiodynamics, Ocean Optics, and Polymicro Technologies

Cirrex Systems [NPE] filed three separate suits against Angiodynamics, Ocean Optics, and Polymicro Technologies, alleging that the defendants’ optical fibers with sculpted tips and laser systems infringe two to three patents (depending on the defendant) related to fiber optic light/data transmission.  Cirrex Systems has filed three prior suits since May 2010 against Infraredx, Oz Optics, and Trustees of Columbia University.  The patents-in-suit originated with Visionex and were assigned to Cirrex in August 2009.  5/21, Northern District of Georgia, Judge Robert L.
