Lumen View Technology (LVT) [NPE] filed suit against CollegeBound Network, alleging that CollegeBound’s website that facilitates an evaluation between prospective students and partner schools, infringes a patent related to web tools that facilitate an evaluation between one party and another.  LVT has filed four prior suits since March 2012 against Avotus, EducationConnection, EducationDynamics, and Zimride. According to the complaint, LVT is the exclusive licensee of the patent-in-suit that was developed by Eileen Shapiro and Steven Mintz at DecisionSorter before being assigned to Dalton Sentry in September 2010.  In November 2010, two other patents from the Dalton Sentry portfolio were asserted by Blackstone River [NPE] against Eharmony, Humor Rainbow, Match.com, Matrima, Plentyoffish, and True Beginnings.  That case was dismissed with prejudice in October 2011.  5/11, District of Delaware, no judge yet assigned, 1:2012cv00593.
