HP Introduces Ethernet Powered Virtual PC

May 11, 2012 – HP announced a new “zero client” computer, a virtual personal computing device that does not have local storage or processing. HP’s new zero client computer is powered via Ethernet connection and does not require an external power supply. According to HP’s press release, “Auto-sensing technology automatically connects to the network and searches for a customer’s existing client virtualization environments, be it from Citrix, Microsoft or VMware.”
