PPS Data [NPE] filed four separate suits against Navinet, Passport Health Communications, Secure EDI Health Group, and The SSI Group, alleging that the defendants’ healthcare management systems infringe two patents related to interactively creating insurance claims.  PPS Data, a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation, has filed one prior suit against a defendant in the financial services industry and six prior suits against defendants that process electronic health records.  The patents-in-suit originated with NetDeposit, a bank software provider that changed its name to PPS Data in October 2010.  5/4, District of Utah, Judge David Nuffer, 2:2012cv00438; Judge Brooke C.
