Execware [NPE] filed seven separate suits against CVS, Dillard’s, Hyatt, PetSmart, Sears, Williams-Sonoma, and Overstock.com alleging that the defendants websites and product listings infringe a patent related to sorting and returning search results. Execware has previously filed patent infringement claims against Amazon, Costco, eBay, Home Depot, Staples, Target, Travelocity, and Wal-Mart among others. Execware has filed thirteen suits since September 2011.
