Multiservice Solutions [NPE] filed suit against Comcast, Charter and two others over two patents related to cable television technology.  3/14, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2011cv00114. This is the first time the patents have been asserted in litigation. According to the PTO, NDS is the assignee of record. In its complaint, Multiservice identifies itself as the assignee and owner of the patents. Accused products are cable modems and receivers.
