Mitchell Medina’s Content Extraction and Transmission Sues Wells Fargo

Content Extraction and Transmission (CET) [NPE] filed suit against Wells Fargo, alleging that Wells Fargo’s banking systems infringe four patents related to processing check and cash deposits at ATMs.  CET has filed six prior suits since November 2011.  Before being assigned to CET in October 2011, the patents-in-suit had been assigned to various entities (Millennium L.P., Eon-Net, and Glory Licensing) established by Mitchell Medina, one of the inventors.  Medina has filed more than 120 lawsuits since 1996 through several patent holding entities.  4/26, District of New Jersey, Judge Peter G.
