ParkerVision [NPE] filed suit against Qualcomm over seven patents related to wireless signal transmission. ParkerVision is a public company that appears to be exclusively concerned with patent monetization. In May 2011, the company reported a net loss of $3.4 million for the quarter ending March 31 and $8.4 million in cash. The company’s recent 8-K  reports the company holds 118 issued US patents and 40 pending applications.
