April 17, 2012 – ABI Research announced that wireless connectivity ICs generated more than $8 billion in 2011. Broadcom reportedly represents 30% of the worldwide connectivity IC shipment volume, followed by Qualcomm with 20% market share, and CSR, and Texas Instruments with 10%.
