Masakazu Ushijima [INV] filed suit against Samsung, alleging that Samsung’s LCD monitors infringe a patent related to inverter circuits for discharge tubes.  This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by Ushijima.  The patent-in-suit was issued to Ushijima and Tadamasa Fujimura in February 1996.  4/10, Western District of Texas, Judge Lee Yeakel, 1:2012cv00318.
