EMG Technology [NPE] filed suit against Chrysler, alleging that Chrysler’s website infringes a patent related to the display of internet content reformatted from HTML to XML on mobile devices for simplified navigation.  EMG has filed five prior suits since November 2008 against over 35 defendants including Apple, Barnes & Noble, Comcast, Dell, Microsoft, Priceline.com, and Time Warner.  Elliot Gottfurcht is one of the named inventors on the patent-in-suit, which was assigned to EMG in November 2008.  Gottfurcht is also a managing member of EMG.  4/11, Eastern District of Texas, no judge yet assigned, 6:2012cv00259.
