April 10, 2012 – Amazon announced an In-App Purchasing service that enables Amazon Appstore developers to offer digital content and subscriptions for purchase within apps and games on the Kindle Fire and other Android devices.  Disney, Dow Jones, Gameloft, Glu Mobile, New York Post, and Storm8 are among the list of developers and publishers that have already integrated Amazon Appstore’s In-App Purchasing API.
