21st Mortgage Corporation Files for DJ against Autoscribe and Pollin Patent Licensing
21st Mortgage Corporation filed an action for declaratory judgment against Autoscribe [NPE] and Pollin Patent Licensing (PPL) [NPE], seeking declaration that 21st Mortgage’s telephone debt collection services do not infringe five patents related to processing checks by phone. Robert Pollin is the named inventor on the patents-in-suit, and in the complaint, Autoscribe purports to be the assignee of all legal rights, title, and interest in and to the patents-in-suit and PPL is the exclusive licensee.
