Titanide Sues Go Daddy, IBM, and Microsoft over Cloud Storage Products

Titanide Ventures [NPE] filed three separate suits against Go Daddy, IBM, and Microsoft, alleging that Go Daddy’s Online File Storage, IBM’s Smart Business Storage Cloud, and Microsoft’s SkyDrive systems infringe one or both of the two in-suit-patents related to remote storage.  Titanide has filed five prior suits since May 2011 against AT&T, Barracude Networks, Google, HP, Layered Technologies, and Yahoo.  Mitchell Prust, the named inventor on the patents-in-suit, also filed two prior suits in April 2009 and August 2009 against Apple, NetMass, and Softlayer Technologies, before assigning the patents to Titanide in December 2010.  4/4, Eastern District of Texas, no judge yet assigned, 4:2012cv00195; 4:2012cv00196; 4:2012cv00197.
