Benjamin Grobler [INV] filed suit against Sony.  The complaint is currently unavailable.  Grobler filed one other suit in March 2012 against Apple, alleging that Apple’s iTunes system infringes a patent related to a data vending system.  The patent-in-suit was issued to Grobler, a citizen of South Africa, in September 2004.  Grobler is also the named inventor on pending US application numbers 20090271318 and 20100048166.  3/27, Northern District of California, 4:2012cv01526.
