Landmark Technology [NPE] filed suit against La-Z-Boy, alleging that La-Z-Boy’s website and electronic data interchange system infringe three patents related to exchanging electronic business data with trading partners for ordering and receiving goods.  Landmark has filed over a dozen prior suits since September 2008 against over 50 defendants.  According to the complaint, Landmark is the exclusive licensee of the patents-in-suit, two of which received reexamination certificates confirming the validity of all claims and allowing 22 additional claims.  3/30, Eastern District of Texas, Judge Leonard Davis, 6:2012cv00226.
