July 20, 2011- InterDigital issued a press release saying it has retained Evercore Partners and Barclays Capital as financial advisors to assist with the “exploration and evaluation of potential strategic alternatives for the company, which may include a sale or other transaction.” Bloomberg reports Google and Apple are in discussions with InterDigital.
