March 14, 2012 – Sony announced the introduction of a gesture-controlled smartphone that features a capacitive touchscreen that is responsive to a user’s finger up to 20 millimeters away from the dispaly. The handset also includes a dual-core processor from ST-Ericsson and is enabled for near-field communications.
