March 14, 2012 - According to Infonetics’ Q4 2011 Content Security Gateway Appliances report, McAfee ranks first in the overall content security gateway appliance and software market followed by Cisco and Symantec. Cisco leads the security appliance segment followed by Blue Coat, McAfee, Symantec, and Barracuda. Trend Micro regained the lead from Websense in the software segment.  The global content security appliance and software market reportedly grew 10% in 2011 to $3.0 billion, and SaaS content security gateway solutions increased 32% in 2011.
