DN Lookup Technologies [NPE] filed suit against Paxfire, alleging that the Paxfire’s domain name redirect services infringe a patent related to a domain name recommendation engine that handles invalid domain name lookup requests.  DN Lookup has filed six prior suits since November 2011 against Charter, Comcast, Cox, OpenDNS, Time Warner, and Verizon.  The patent-in-suit was assigned to Acacia Research by DNS redirection provider Iscatel in July 2011.  Iscatel appears to have been a DNS redirection provider.  3/9, District of Delaware, 1:2012cv00296.
