Automated Facilities Management Corporation (AFMC) [NPE] filed suit against Revere Inc. of Alabama, alleging that the Revere’s IMMPOWER software infringes a patent related to managing building facilities.  AFMC is a subsidiary of Acacia Research and has filed five prior suits since August 2007 against over a dozen defendants including IBM.  The patent-in-suit originated with OnMyTeam.com and was assigned to TangoPoint in April 2007.  According to the complaint, AFMC is the current owner of the patent-in-suit, but the assignment has yet to be recorded in the USPTO database.  2/24, Northern District of Alabama, 2:2012cv00653.
