Qualcomm Reportedly Paid $175 Million to Acquire Display Technology Company

January 26, 2012- Qualcomm reportedly paid $175 million to acquire display technology provider, Pixtronix. Pixtronix supplies MEMS components for TFT-LCD displays. The acquisition was made in December 2011 without a public announcement by either company.
