Systemify [NPE] filed suit against PacketMotion and VMware, alleging that the defendants’ software for alerting on open fileshare sessions on a user’s electronic device infringes a patent related to user activity management for file-sharing.  This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by Systemify.  Gabriel Jakobson is the named inventor on the patent-in-suit, which was assigned to Systemify by Petnote in March 2011.  1/25, District of Nevada, 2:2012cv00130.
