ArrivalStar [NPE] and Melvino Technologies [NPE] filed four separate suits against Burlington Coat Factory, Logfret, RockBlocks Group, and Saudi Arabian Airlines, alleging that the defendants’ tracking services infringe seven patents related GPS notification and vehicle monitoring.  The complaints are currently unavailable.  Since 2006, ArrivalStar has filed more than 100 patent suits against over 200 defendants.  Martin Kelly Jones is the named inventor on the patent-in-suit and ArrivalStar’s founder and CEO.  The patent-in-suit was assigned to Melvino Technologies in February 2010.  1/25, Southern District of Florida, 1:2012cv20284; 1:2012cv20295; 1:2012cv20299; 1:2012cv20300.
