Cell and Network Selection (CNS) [NPE] filed suit against AT&T and HTC, alleging that the HTC’s LTE 4G mobile devices (sold by AT&T) infringe a patent related to cellular signal optimization. This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by CNS, a subsidiary of Acacia Research.  The patent-in-suit originated with Shinsegi Telecomm.  12/29, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2011cv00706.
