December 17, 2011-  Silver Spring Networks announced that it will partner with EMC to offer a new analytics solution to analyze data across the utility enterprise. According to the press release, EMC’s Greenplum analytics solution will be applied to network data from grid operations in order to “improve grid reliability, reduce operational cost and enhance customer management.”
