Laughing Gas Enterprises (LGE) [NPE] filed suit against Amstel, Anheuser-Busch, Brown-Forman, Guiness, Heineken, Lindeman’s, and Miller Coors Brewing, alleging that the defendants’ marketing programs infringe a patent related to social networks that use mobile phones for promotional contests involving content uploads from users.  This is the first patent infringement suit initiated by LGE.  Jeffrey M.
