Cian IP [NPE] filed five separate suits against Aeroflex, Agilent Technologies, National Instruments, Pickering Interfaces, and Spirent Communications, alleging that the defendants’ PC based modular test systems infringe a patent related to a computer diagnostic system.  These are the first patent infringement suits initiated by Cian IP.  The patent-in-suit originated with Micro Processor Systems and was assigned to Cian IP by TT IP in February 2011.  12/5, Northern District of Texas, 3:2011cv03349; 3:2011cv03351; 3:2011cv03353; 3:2011cv03354; 3:2011cv03356.
