Lo-Q PLC filed suit against QLess, alleging that QLess’ wireless queuing products infringe a patent related to a wireless personal communication device that enables users to schedule reservations in queues. In May 2011, Lo-Q PLC filed a separate suit against QLess over the same patent, and filed a notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice in November 2011. The patent-in-suit was issued to inventors, William Waytena, Amir H. Raubvogel, Robert R. Sachs, and assigned to Palmtop Productions before being assigned to Lo-Q PLC in November 2011. 11/22, Middle District of Florida, 8:2011cv02628.
