Brandywine Sues Cisco, Samsung, and ShoreTel

Brandywine Communications Technologies [NPE] filed three separate suits against Cisco, Samsung, and ShoreTel, alleging that the defendants’ phone system products infringe a patent related to making voice calls using LAN/WAN modules.  Brandywine has filed three prior suits since August 2011 against 30 defendants including Apple, AT&T, Audiovox, CenturyLink, Futurewei, HTC, Huawei, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, RIM, Samsung, SprintT-Mobile, and Verizon.  The patent-in-suit originated with Jetstream Communications and was assigned to Brandywine by Rembrandt Communications in August 2010.  11/18, Middle District of Florida, 6:2011cv01842; 6:2011cv01843; 6:2011cv01844.
