Samsung Drops Qualcomm CDMA Chip from Smartphone Model

Jul 14, 2011- Samsung has reportedly dropped Qualcomm‘s CDMA chip from its Droid LTE ”Charge” phone model and will use a chip supplied by VIA Technologies instead. This will reportedly be VIA’s first CDMA chip sale into the US market.  Via recently sold its S3 Graphics unit to HTC.
