Webvention Sues Acer, Comcast, DirecTV, Time Warner, and 11 Others

Webvention [NPE] filed 15 separate suits against Acer, Beazer Homes, Comcast, DirecTV, Entertainment Earth, Ernst & Young, General Electric, Giorgio Armani, GNC, Landstar System, Source Interlink Media, Sur La Table, Time Warner, Universal Forest Products, and Vitacost.com, alleging that defendants’ websites infringe a patent related to hover previewing and dynamic searching.  On its website, Webvention claims to have licensed the patent-in-suit to over 300 companies.  Webvention has filed suit against more than 80 defendants and been named in more than 25 separate declaratory judgment actions since July 2010.  The patent-in-suit was issued to inventor, Daniel H.
