K Tech Telecommunications filed two separate suits against DirecTV and Time Warner Cable (TWC) over four patents related to digital television translators.  The complaint is currently unavailable.  These are the first patent infringement suits filed by K Tech.  The patents-in-suit were all issued an individual inventor/owner of K Tech. K Tech supplies codecs, processors, and related products to digital TV suppliers.  Both DirecTV and TWC are listed on list of clients on the K Tech site.   11/9, Central District of California, 2:2011cv09370; 2:2011cv09373.
