Mission Abstract Data [NPE] filed suit against CBS, Cox, Beasley Radio, and five other radio companies and dozens of related entities over two patents related to selection and retrieval of music from a digital database, 3/1, 1:2011cv00176. In February 2011, the patents were assigned by Mission Abstract, LLC to Intellectual Ventures Audio Data, LLC and assigned back to Mission Abstract one week later.
