Bear Creek Technologies [NPE] filed suit against Cox Communications, alleging that the company’s communications networks infringe a patent related to VoIP technology.  This case is a transfer from the Eastern District of Virginia.  Bear Creek has filed 15 prior suits since May 2007 against defendants including 8×8, AT&T, Charter, Cox, CSC, Qwest, Time Warner, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Vonage.  11/3, Northern District of Georgia, 1:2011cv03784.
