ChriMar Systems [NPE] filed suit against 3Com, Avaya, Cisco, Extreme Networks, and HP, alleging that defendants’ wireless products infringe a patent related to communication over wireless local area networks.  ChriMar Systems has filed seven prior suits since 2001 against over ten defendants including D-Link and Foundry Networks.  The patent-in-suit was issued to inventors, John F. Austermann and Marshall B. Cummings, and was assigned to ChriMar in August 2011.  10/31, District of Delaware, 1:11-cv-01050.
