Klausner Technologies [NPE] filed suit against 8×8, Clearwire, Earthlink, HP, Oracle, and 26 others, alleging that the defendants’ VoIP messaging services infringe a patent related to visual voicemail.  Klausner has filed nine prior suits against over 30 defendants including Apple, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, HTC, Motorola Mobility, NEC, Panasonic, Qwest, RIM, Samsung, Toshiba, Verizon, and Vonage.  Judah Klausner, the founder of Klausner Technologies, and Robert Hotto are the named inventors of the patent-in-suit.  10/25, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2011cv00556.
