Easyweb Innovations Sues Facebook over Messages

Easyweb Innovations [NPE] filed suit against Facebook, alleging that the company’s website infringes five patents related to Internet message publishing.  According to the complaint, Easyweb contacted Facebook prior to filing suit, but Facebook did not respond to Easyweb’s offer to license the patents.  John D. Codignotto is the named inventor of the patents-in-suit.  Easyweb Innovations, formerly known as Easyweb Technologies, has filed two prior suits since 2009 against more than 10 defendants including MySpace, PhotoBucket, and Twitter.  10/20, Eastern District of New York, 2:2011cv05121.
