Apple Ordered to Pay Personal Audio $8 Million in Damages

July 11, 2011- A Texas jury ordered Apple to pay Personal Audio (a non-practicing entity)  $8 million in damages related to two patents for playlist management.  Apple’s iPod devices were the accused product.  Personal Audio originally filed suit against Apple in 2009 and is represented by Robins Kaplan.
