CRU Acquisition Group d/b/a CRU-DataPort filed an action for declaratory judgment against MyKey Technologies [NPE] over three patents related to hard drive duplication methods.  In May 2011, MyKey filed two suits over the same patents against 12 defendants including CRU-DataPort.   MyKey also filed a complaint at the ITC in July 2011 against CRU and eight other respondents.  MyKey’s district court case against CRU was stayed pending resolution of the ITC investigation, and CRU brought this action because that court did not rule on CRU’s motions for dismissal and transfer.  9/15, Western District of Washington, 3:2011cv05743.
