8×8 Acquires Contact Center Provider

September 13, 2011- 8×8, a supplier of VoIP, conferencing, video and cloud computing solutions announced it will acquire ContactualContactual provides online contact center services and interaction management software.  Contactual’s contact center solution enables interactive voice response scripting, customizable announcements and prompts, click-to-chat support, customer relationship management integration, and reporting. RPX has acquired rights to several portfolios that are relevant to call center services including Bell Aliant, NetbyTel, BT Call Center, BA Software and Vontoo.
