NPE Sues Verizon Wireless with Patent Acquired from Failed Internet Company

CRS, LLC [NPE] filed suit against Verizon Wireless over a patent related to mobile browsing.  CRS has filed seven prior suits since 2005 (each against a single defendant), but this is the first litigation involving the patent asserted in the suit against Verizon.  CRS acquired the patent-in-suit from failed Internet startup, Network Commerce, in 2003. Network Commerce reportedly once employed more than 650 people and had a stock market value of more than half a billion dollars. 9/2, District of Delaware, 1:2011cv00776.
