Xilinx filed an action for declaratory judgment against Intellectual Ventures (IV) [NPE], and six related patent holding LLCs over seven patents related to integrated circuits seeking determination of invalidity, noninfringment and lack of standing.  According to the complaint, Xilinx previously participated in IV investment funds.  In late 2010, IV allegedly began pressuring Xilinx to make further investments and take licenses to certain portfolios.  9/2, Northern District of California, 5:2011cv04407.
