September 1, 2011- Toshiba has launched a tablet computing device.  Toshiba’s “Thrive” tablet features NVIDIA processors, Android OS, SD and USB expansion ports, an accelerometer, and dual cameras.  RPX acquired a patent related to 3-axis motion sensing accelerometer controlled displays from Vodafone in May 2010.  RPX also acquired portfolio of patents related to SD expansion card interfaces from SCM Microsystems in March 2009.
