Innovative Automation [NPE] filed suit against Codonics, Electric Picture Company, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Rimage, and Summation Technology over a patent related to digital data duplication. Innovative Automation obtained the patent in February 2011 from JC Research, a software publishing company. Since March 2011, Innovative Automation has filed nine suits against over 25 defendants. 8/30, Eastern District of Texas, 6:2011cv00445.
