Phoenix Launches New Wave of E-commerce Litigation

Phoenix Licensing, along with co-plaintiff LPL Licensing, launched a new wave of litigation against a range of e-commerce targets over marketing and offers. Phoenix filed 21 suits against defendants AAA Life Insurance, American Airlines, AT&T, Carnival, Chrysler, Comcast, Dell, Delta, DirecTV, Fidelity, Ford, General Motors, Gerber, Physician’s Mutual, Royal Caribbean,   Sallie Mae, Sprint, Toyota, United, Verizon, and Wells Fargo, asserting a group of seven patents (5,987,434; 7,856,375; 7,860,744; 7,890,366; 8,234,184; 8,352,317; 8,606,632).
